Something I have been doing with my new blogs (one doesn't even allow adsense) is selling affiliate products. You can sign up with an affiliate and sell merchant's prorducts and receive a portion of the commission if people sign up fromyour affiliate link. If you use your blog to review these products and then also submit these reviews to articles and ezines with a link back to your site you can make some pretty good money if you have a blog that gets lots of targeted traffic in a particular niche.

This might give you some ideas on how to get started blogging for cash with affiliate programs. I just reapplied for adsense so we'll see if that works out this time:
---------------------------------
Welcome back College students (and anyone else who may be reading). College students all come back to their respective universities soon, and without that summer job, what do they all need? That's right, some more money and if you're like me you feel bad about asking your parents for some extra cash when you can earn it yourself. What if you're an athlete or involved in various other programs and don't have time or flexibility of schedule to earn some money? What if you're just really ambitious and want to start earning multiple streams of income?
Did you even know that you can make money with blogs? There are thousands of college kids with MySpace and various blogs, etc and people read these things so why not turn it into something that generates a little extra spending cash for you each month. And who knows, it might become an avid source of income if you learn the system to succeed.
If you're still reading and you've decided you MIGHT b interested in blogging for cash me give you some steps to get you started.
1.) Find a niche that you're interested in and you would enjoy writing about because this blog is something that you're going to want to have content-rich text that is frequently updated. Use this free site to help you determine a niche that isn't too populated or too obscure: http://nichetaxi.com
2.) Okay let's say you found a niche you like? Now what? Understand who your audience is and the what kind of content they're looking for. If you're doing "Ways to get girls" or something like that you need to make sure that you're posting lots of content about ways to get girls that will benefit your readers and keep them coming back each time you update. If you're making the effort to post your own orginal content and using content (you're allowed to use) to provide interesting, viable information to your readers they will return, trust me.
3.) So now you've got your niche - "Ways to get Girls" and you're audience - a bunch of guys that want to learn ways to pick up more girls, boost their confidence in interactions with females, etc. You're posting good solid content for them and also linking them to credible content, that may not be your own, but in doing so you're increasing both your credibility and their trust in you as someone who will go to lengths to help them. Always remember, it's what they WANT, not what you THINK THEY NEED.
4.) Sign up for an affiliate site. The site I use (because I like supporting other young Internet Markters) is Sale Flurry and I think you'll find the layout very conducive to helping you get started with affiliate marketing. Promote some products on your blog along with your content that are directly related to your content.
5.) Be honest about the products you're promoting. Let your readers know what type of person the product will work for and who might not benefit from it and why. I've found that if you're honest about a product you'll further both your credibility and your readers' trust which is something I'll always emphasize here (hence the reason I've mentioned it twice already).
6.)Track your results and watch which links are the most productive for you so that you can duplicate your successes and abort your failures. Like any other business there is some trial and error involved.

| I'm interested in blogging but I've heard it's pretty difficult to make money consistently. I did have a website on the net and it took a year to get a $100 dollar adsense check so patience is required. |
